Overview

The Zenmuse S1 is DJI’s inaugural flashlight engineered for multi-payload drone platforms, compatible with the Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK. The LEP technology provides great brightness, extended illumination range, and numerous lighting modes. This renders it optimal for public safety, emergency rescue, inspection, and various nocturnal operations.

Multiple Lighting Modes

Low Beam Mode

This mode provides a 15° field of vision (FOV) at a distance of 150 meters, which encompasses the lighting range of a camera at 5x magnification or higher. This mode is appropriate for the majority of short-range search and inspection requirements.

High Beam Mode

This mode features LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) technology for improved light penetration, providing a 4° field of view (FOV) at a range of 300 meters. It encompasses the illumination range of a camera at 15x zoom or greater, hence augmenting efficacy in emergency rescue and public safety activities.

Both On Mode

Activates both low and high beams concurrently, providing enhanced central illumination compared to the High Beam mode alone. It preserves the field of view of the Low Beam mode while increasing the viewing range to 500 meters. This setting provides optimal illumination coverage for thorough situational awareness.

Strobe Mode

The Zenmuse S1 facilitates high-frequency strobing to effectively alert and attract the attention of certain individuals, rendering it very advantageous for signaling in emergency rescue and public safety situations.

Brightness Meets Energy Efficiency

The Zenmuse S1 produces a peak central illuminance of 35 lux at a distance of 100 meters, ensuring sufficient illumination in low-light conditions to distinctly identify subject features. Furthermore, the power consumption in High Beam mode is merely 17 W, alleviating the power burden on the drone and aiding in the preservation of flight duration.

Zenmuse S1 is capable of adapting to a variety of operating environments, as it is capable of operating in ambient conditions ranging from -20° to 40° C (-4° to 104° F) and has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

Flexible Mounting, Lightweight Build

The Zenmuse S1 can be affixed to any gimbal connector, including the single downward gimbal, dual downward gimbals, or single upward gimbal, to accommodate a variety of operational requirements. It is both lightweight and portable, weighing in at a mere 0.76 kg.
